What is AJY?
AJY stands for the Adventist Junior Youth Society of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. At the Capital City Seventh-day Adventist Church, the AJY includes all children ages 10 through 15. The purpose of AJY is to build character, provide social interaction, give leadership training, and involve the youth in Christian service.
The mission of the Capital City Seventh-day Adventist AJY is to train our youth for Christian leadership and service; and to generate and maintain the youth's interest in Christ and His Church.
This mission shall be realized by:
Offering weekly interactive AJY programs
Creating opportunities to fellowship and socialize
Allowing the youth to assume leadership roles
Encouraging participation in church related programs and activities.
Recognizing the positive achievements of our youth.
