​Children’s Ministries develops the faith of children from birth through age 14, leading them into union with the Church. It seeks to provide multiple ministries that will lead children to Jesus and disciple them in their daily walk with Him. It cooperates with the Sabbath school and other departments to provide religious education to children and fulfills its mission by developing a variety of grace-oriented ministries for children that are inclusive, service-oriented, leadership-building, safe, and evangelistic.

Mission:
To provide a safe, spiritual and abuse-free environment for every childr who attends programs and activities of the Capital City Seventh-day Adventist Church.


 
Children's Programs 
 
Adventurer Club
Adventurer LogoThe Adventurer Club provides a wide range of fun, Christ-centered indoor and outdoor activities that will teach life skills, team building and physical fitness. The program will assist your child to develop positive values and reach their full potential.
Children and parents will learn about God, themselves, their family and their world through: nature activities, crafts, games, outdoor activities  and service to others.
The Capital City Satellites meets three times a month on the 1st and 3rd Saturday from 4-6 p.m. and the 2nd Sunday from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. until of the end of June 2014. There will be occasional programs during the summer months.

Amazing Discovery 4 Kidz (AD4K)
Capital City SDA Church Baptismal ClassAre you looking for ways to help your children ages 6-10, learn more about God's love? Would you like them to discover how they can be ready to meet Jesus when He comes again the second time? Then join us on the 1st and 3rd Sabbath of every month at 11 am, as we assist them in discovering 28 amazing ways that God reveals His loves to them every day.

Baptismal Class
Capital City SDA Church Baptismal ClassThe baptismal class prepares children who have expressed a desire to be baptized. The children studies basic beliefs of Christianity and Seventh-day Adventists so that Children understand their relationship and responsibilities to God and to the community of believers. ​
 
Children's Choir
It gives the children an experience of worship through music and to train them in singing and in understanding music as a ministry outreach.  It provides a great opportunity to teach children good music and influence their musical tastes.
 
Children's Church 
Children’s church is a church service just for children. It provides children with the opportunity to worship in an age-appropriate setting, learning at their level of understanding, and participating in worship.  It begins when the adult church begins. Children’s church incorporate all the elements of regular worship such as praise, prayer, sharing or testimony, studying the Word, a children’s sermon, and drama or skits that apply the Word to everyday life. Children’s church is scheduled for the 2nd Sabbath of every month.
 
Children Sabbath School
To provide religious education for children that helps them build a loving,
serving relationship with Jesus. It also provides a great opportunity to study the Bible with the children and help them relate these truths to everyday life.
 
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is the most popular community outreach program. It is generally held during the vacation time, lasting 10 days. The program involves a general session, Bible stories, crafts, and games.
